Does Estemerwalt do custom milling?

It depends on what kind of custom milling you need done. If you need an irregular sized square timber or an oddly sized round timber, we probably can. If it involves a profile that we do not have tooling for, unfortunately we cannot. We get these kinds of calls all of the time from people who are trying to match an existing product they bought from another log home company or retailer. Nine times out of ten a product we make will either match exactly or match closely enough so that no one will ever notice. Give us a call and we’ll discuss your project to determine what will work best for you.

How fast will I have my order?

Most of our best sellers are in stock and ready to go when you are! We keep a large supply of 1” and 2” tongue and groove, 6” and 8” “D” style log siding, 1” 5/4” and 2” S4S (smooth on 4 sides) lumber, wainscoting and rough lumber on hand to meet the demands of our log home customers and contractors. Items such as our round log siding and timbers are planed to each individual order. These products are usually completed within three weeks of your order, although we always try to get them done faster. If we foresee an order taking longer than this we will let you know up front.

Do you kiln dry your lumber?

All of our one and two-inch finished products, as well as our 6" and 8" D style log siding is kiln dried to approximately 8 to 10% moisture content. Our timbers are allowed to air dry before we plane them. Kiln dried rough-cut 1" and 2" is available upon request.

This sounds great! How do I get there?

From the Scranton area: Take I-81 North to Route 6 East. Take Rt. 6 E through Honesdale to Route 652 East. Make a left onto 652 east and go 4.8 miles. On your right you will see a self service car wash. Make your first right at the Waste Management sign after the car wash. This is Rosencrantz road; there is no road sign. Go approximately 2 miles to the end of Rosencrantz road to the “T” You will see our sign just before this intersection. Make a right at the “T.” This is Adams Pond Rd. Go approximately ¼ of a mile. The sawmill will be on the left and the sales office will be on the right.

From Northern New Jersey/New York State Area: Take I-84 East into Pennsylvania. Take exit 30, Blooming Grove/Hawley exit for Rt 402. Make a right off of this exit to head towards Hawley. Take Rt 402 to Rt 6. Head west on Rt 6, through Hawley and towards Honesdale. Make a right onto Rt 652 east. Go 4.8 miles and follow the above directions to our sawmill.

GPS: First and foremost, do not type our street address into your GPS unit. It will not work. The directions above are much more user friendly to those who are unfamiliar with the area. But if you decide to throw caution to the wind and type our street address into your GPS anyway, and you happen to arrive at a coal/mulch dealer also located on Adams Pond Rd, just continue driving straight for another 2.5 miles. You will find us. If you have the type of GPS unit which you can input coordinates into, use these:
